Your family isn't alone in this.

Made by a parent, for parents and caregivers. But this only works if we build it together.

quietly, we flicker. together, we illuminate.

I built this because
my family needed it.

I'm a stay-at-home father of five, including autistic twins. I was tired of watching families — my family included — navigate this without a real community behind them.

There's no team. No investors. No salary. Just one parent with 15 years of tech experience and a belief that if we build the right place, families will show up for each other the way they always do when it matters.

So I built nyceville — a village where families share what actually works, find real resources in their state, and advocate together for their children. Because no parent should have to figure this out alone.

949 questions. 41 diagnoses.
answers that actually help.

filter by diagnosis and category to find questions from parents who get it. every question is real. every answer comes from a family who's been there.

when enough parents agree that something works, it becomes parent-vetted — marked with tri-color bars so you can see at a glance what's helping and what isn't. share your results with teachers, therapists, and doctors.

  • + Browse by diagnosis, category, and subcategory
  • + AI organizes everything — parents just ask

Your state. Your resources.
Your support system.

Every state has programs most families never hear about. nyceville finds them for you — financial support, TEFRA and Katie Beckett programs, Medicaid waivers, SSI, ABLE accounts, early intervention services, and crisis support lines. Organized by state. Updated for your family.

  • + State-specific financial assistance and programs
  • + Medicaid, SSI, ABLE accounts, and family support explained
  • + Crisis lines: Parent Support, 988 Lifeline, Parent Stress Line

This isn't left or right.
This is about your family.

Your child's access to services shouldn't depend on which party is in power. nyceville helps you see who's fighting for your family — and gives you the tools to reach the ones who aren't. Not to attack them. To give them the chance to do the right thing.

advocate with one tap.

We wrote the message. We found the contact. All you have to do is press send. And if they still won't stand with your family after hearing from you — well, as a parent, your vote goes where your family goes.

Jamie Hollis

founder & sole developer by title — but really just a parent trying to help other parents

husband. father of five — including twins with Level 3 autism who are non-speaking. after more than 15 years in technology with Apple, Microsoft, and Samsung, Jamie stepped away to raise his family. when his twins were diagnosed, he saw firsthand how broken the system is for families navigating special needs — scattered information, toxic social media groups, and no single place that actually helps.

so he built one. Jamie combined over a decade of experience in tech operations with the knowledge that only comes from living this every day. nyceville is the result — 41 diagnoses, 50-state verified resources, and nearly 1,000 research-backed questions, all powered by the same Google Cloud and AI infrastructure he spent years working alongside.

the app covers what no other platform does because it was built by someone who needed it to exist.

powered by Google Cloud
& Gemini AI.

nyceville runs entirely on Google Cloud infrastructure. AI isn't a feature we bolted on — it's the engine that makes the entire platform work. from the moment a parent asks a question to the moment a solution becomes parent-vetted, Gemini AI is working behind the scenes. and we're just getting started — an AI-powered solution matching engine is in development, bringing personalized results to every family based on their child's unique profile.

Gemini 2.5 Flash AI

I can't do this alone.
And I'm okay with that.

If you believe in what we're building — or if you just want to help keep the lights on while I keep building — anything helps. And if you have skills, ideas, or time to contribute, I'm open to anyone who wants to help make this vision real.

Because the success of nyceville depends on all of us.

The village needs you.

nyceville isn't a finished product — it's a community taking shape. The parents and caregivers who join now aren't just users. You're the ones shaping what this becomes. Your input, your encouragement, your stories — that's what turns this from one parent's idea into a home for all of us.
